Mac Moves

Our little man is officially crawling and loving every second of it. Cam and I on the other hand are frantically trying to baby proof our home which includes figuring out what to do with the seemingly hundreds of wires that Cam has installed for the sound system and his computers. If anyone has suggestions for how to cover these up and/or keep a little guy from chewing on them let us know. So far my attempts at a firm "no no" don't seem to do much except make him smile.

An Ode to Mac Hats

The Classics (tv that is)

I was feeling nostalgic the other day so I decided to see if some of my favorite childhood shows were on youtube, and low and behold i discovered these two gems.





My reaction to seeing these shows again for the first time in over fifteen years? Definitely mixed, i still think they had great premises, who doesn't want to be able to stop time or have a robot for a sister, however the writing is more than slightly painful and thus i owe my mom for sitting through these things with me :)

Tightening the Belt

The recession has hit the Hatch family hard, thus we've been reduced to participating in two-for-one night skiing on Mount Spokane. Being the savvy individuals that we are, Cam and I decided that a nice night of snowboarding took precedence over attending a free class on debt reduction. We'll see how this innovative economic strategy plays out over time :)
And a quick Mac update: He's just over seven months and is on the cusp of crawling. He enjoys munching on cereal and laughing with his dad. He's also started mumbling "dadadada" for long periods of time, so I'm hoping "mamama" is next.
