An Ode to Grammy (or Mamasita as she was formally known)

What can I say about my favorite woman in the world? She gave me life but most importantly gave me a life full of love, kindness, laughter, joy and understanding. This picture is from four years ago when mom and I decided that the intense fog called for some dancing around in the front yard and taking some ethereal photos. My mom will always be my partner in goofiness. The woman who would dance around the house with me, encourage me in my dreams of becoming an Olympic bobsledder, humor me in my requests to paint a lightening bolt across the room and continue to love and gently guide me thorough each phase of my life. I still look to her whenever I'm feeling blue and just talking to her will inevitably cause me to become more thoughtful about the situation and hopefully grow a little. Mom thank you for being the greatest example to me of selfless love and also my best friend. And finally with respect to future mother daughter vacations, in the words of Lottie Wilkins, "I see us, together in the castle in Italy by the sea!"

April Pics

My apologies to Grammy for taking so long to post new pics. This past month has been crazy with Cameron finishing up school and so posting has taken a backseat to just making it through the day with my sanity intact.

I'm not sure what was bothering Mac during the egg decorating but I have to say I didn't think I'd have to see this expression until the teenage years.
On a happier note all the boys had a blast at Grandpa Scott's easter egg hunt. My dad hid the eggs and the boys really had to apply themselves to get their goodies.

Here's a picture from the art show my friend Brittany put together at her ballet studio. It was a lot of fun to help her set up and see the beautiful ballet performances.

And here are some shots from our Strawberry picking trip with Mac's preschool class.

And finally a shot of Mac with a sculpture in front of the MFA. Not the best pic but it reminds me of my childhood going to museums with Grammy Nicole.
